Every single night after work, and any other free time I had would be spent exploring Hong Kong with a camera in my hand.”
A friend of mine suggested I try photography. It started as an interest, I had an old Canon 450D lying around, and I went out with my friend to try some street photography. It quickly transformed from an interest, to a hobby, to an obsession and finally to a passion.
Every single night after work, and any other free time I had would be spent exploring Hong Kong with a camera in my hand. I developed a fascination for neon lighting, something unique to Hong Kong, but I wanted to display it in my own unique way. There is something about the neon lights in Hong Kong that gives me this strange nostalgic feeling from a place I have never been, but know so well. This is what I try to capture when I take my photos.
I am pretty much self taught and through trial and error, I started to develop my own style. I want to get to a point that people will see my photo, and know that it was taken by me even without my name attached to it.
I'm really lucky to have a close group of friends, all of which have various creative talents and passions. We draw inspiration and energy off of each other.
